SCIENTIFIC PROJECT

Hi guys, tomorrow 30 Janury 2016,we will partecipate at the race of robotic FLL (First Lego League)
for which we are prepared during these months.
Present in addition to the race of robotic our scientific project. Our project is based on the reduction of packaging boxes.
We see that there are many boxes with the same volume but different surface and we asked what would be the shape of the box that the same volume allows the use of the lower surface.
The boxes that could change with our project are those of liquids and materials without a proper volume like the Lego. Our boxes would be a disadvantage for the companies as they would lose space for advertising but they would benefit the environment because they greatly reduce waste. The advantage that they would firms consists in the fact that saving packaging for the packs may reuse them to build others having an increase in production.

Our robot strategy

We have divided the board in 4 parts.

-          Part 1. Take the two plastic bags (the ones next to the turtle), push the yellow button to make the compost fall, put the motorbike in the car and take the methane to go back home. While going back, we take the compost that has already fallen.

-          Part 2. Put the animals in each circle. Put the methane in the chimney and take the last bag.

-          Part 3. Make the machine which classifies the blue, yellow and black lego peaces work.


-          Part 4. Push the truck to take the yellow box and send it to the end of the line.
